W. Eric Pedersen is the managing partner of Velletta Pedersen Christie.

Mr. Pedersen is a trial lawyer practicing in the areas of commercial litigation, property litigation, employment law, and estate litigation. Mr. Pedersen has achieved successful outcomes for individuals and businesses, in Provincial Court, British Columbia Supreme Court, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, British Columbia Employment Standards Tribunal and the Social Security Tribunal of Canada.

Mr. Pedersen is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria, where he was awarded the Gowlings Prize in Intellectual Property and Technology Law.  He was called to the bar in 2013.

The goal of any engagement is to achieve the best outcome in the shortest time and cost-effective manner. When necessary, Mr. Pedersen and the litigation team at Velletta Pedersen Christie will bring their client’s matters to trial with confidence and enthusiasm.

  • Mr. Pedersen regularly volunteers his time in the community and in a variety of pro-bono projects. Mr. Pedersen sat on the board of the Victoria Cool-Aid Society from 2014 to 2020, including as board chair.
