Self-Employed Person Immigration

Self-Employed individuals may be eligible to obtain PR in Canada through the Self-Employed Persons Program. In order to be eligible for the Self-Employed Persons Program, an individual must have relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics and must be willing and able to contribute to cultural or athletic life in Canada. The Self-Employed Persons Program is a points-based program. In determining whether to issue PR to individuals under the Self-Employed Persons Program, the Government of Canada will examine factors such as the applicant’s experience, education, age, language abilities, and adaptability. Our lawyers can help you explore this Self-Employed Persons Program and prepare your application for PR.
