Aaron Webster earned his Juris Doctor with co-operative education from the University of Victoria, after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies at Royal Roads University and a Diploma in Criminal Justice at Camosun College.

While in law school, Aaron was awarded the Lars Alfred Lindholm Memorial Scholarship for attaining the highest standing in the Faculty of Law’s Labour Law course. He also gained practical experience through co-op placements with the Department of Justice and the B.C. Ministry of Finance. At the Department of Justice, he worked in the Public Safety, Defence, and Immigration Section, assisting counsel on Federal Court judicial reviews of immigration decisions. His work included preparing memoranda of argument, conducting legal research, and contributing to litigation strategy in a high-volume practice. At the Ministry of Finance, Aaron worked in the Tax Appeals and Litigation Branch, analyzing taxpayers’ submissions and financial records, communicating with taxpayers about appeal outcomes, and drafting ministerial recommendation letters.

Before entering law, Aaron served seven years in the Royal Canadian Air Force as an Aerospace Telecommunication and Information Systems Technician, responsible for maintaining and repairing complex communication and radar systems. His military service fostered a strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a practical approach to problem-solving.

Having grown up on Hornby Island and completed his undergraduate studies in Victoria, Aaron has a longstanding connection to Vancouver Island and its communities. He is committed to providing practical and professional legal services to individuals and businesses across the Island and beyond.

Outside the office, Aaron enjoys reading, staying active, keeping up with new shows and movies, and spending time with friends and family.
