Wen practices in a wide range of areas, including civil litigation, real property, and family law, along with an interest in residential tenancies. He is equipped with a uniquely cross-cultural perspective and skillset, having spent his youth in Beijing, the capital city of China. He speaks Mandarin with native fluency, and maintained a column on a local Chinese newspaper as part of his commitment toward public legal education.
Wen has successfully represented clients before the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court, and various tribunals of the province, having done so since his time at the University of Victoria Law Centre clinic.
As part of his active community engagement, Wen currently sits on several municipal advisory committees. He has also served on the executive of a number of student organizations during his studies, such as the University of Victoria’s Law Student Society and the faculty’s Dungeons and Dragons group.
