Cadeyrn Christie is a civil litigation lawyer and business lawyer with Velletta Pedersen Christie. A former tradesperson, business owner, and high performance athlete, Cadeyrn focuses his practice on providing dynamic representation to individuals and businesses.

Since joining Velletta & Company, Cadeyrn Christie has helped clients achieve cost effective legal solutions in a wide variety of contentious matters, including business disputes, debt collections, personal injury litigation, real estate disputes, and construction litigation. Cadeyrn has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia, including conducting an appeal in the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

Cadeyrn regularly appears in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. In addition to his own clients, Cadeyrn has assisted Michael J. Velletta as junior counsel on several large and complex commercial cases, in both the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and in private arbitration.

In his business practice, Cadeyrn takes pride in helping businesses and entrepreneurs with transactions, contracts, and risk management in order to avoid disputes and litigation with customers, employees, and other businesses.

Cadeyrn is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Victoria Bar Association, and the Law Society of British Columbia.

Cadeyrn publishes a web blog named buildersliensvictoria.ca, a free resource for tradespeople and homeowners who are facing a builders lien or construction dispute.

Cadeyrn obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Victoria. During his legal studies, Cadeyrn volunteered providing legal information to clients in the UVic Legal Info Clinic, and the UVic Business Law Clinic, as well as assisting a small technology start-up through Pro Bono Students of Canada.

In his final year of law school, Cadeyrn represented the University of Victoria at the MacIntyre Cup Western Canada Trial Competition, where he helped his team to tie for a first place finish by conducting a full mock criminal trial.

When not in the office, Cadeyrn enjoys fishing, playing water polo, reading historical fiction, and exploring the amazing outdoors of Vancouver Island.
